An international trading company is seeking a Bilingual Japanese/English Marketing and Business Development Manager to join their team in San Jose, CA. This position is responsible for assessing and verifying the potential market. A bachelor's degree or higher, 5+ years of business development and new product marketing experience, and the ability to speak, read, and write Japanese are required. This is a full-time, exempt, hybrid position, excellent benefits, and 401k. **Experience working in Japanese companies preferred but not required**

Bilingual Japanese/English Marketing and Business Development Manager Duties:
-Provides the industry vision necessary to identify market and technology trends. This includes staying abreast of new industry trends and technologies to spot ANT opportunities.
-Identifies, develops and evaluates market strategy. Uses sales forecasting and strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products.
-Develops and executes product marketing plans that achieve business objectives and marketing goals.
-Collaborates with key participants in each of the internal organizations involved in the decision process to drive the internal processes required to fully assess the opportunity.
-Understands the fit with the core competencies of the company. Finalizes the business plan and achieves buy-in within each internal organizational group.
-Collects data, analyzes business developments and monitors market trends.
-Regularly reports to senior management to apprise them of findings and activities.
-Investigates business potential for new products and technologies and reports finding to management.
-Works closely with customer analyzing application needs and communicates application needs to the international R&D Department.
-Coordinates development of products to meet customers need and makes recommendations to customers based on feedback from R&D.
-Handles special projects as requested by Manager.

Bilingual Japanese/English Marketing and Business Development Manager Skills:
-Mustbe able to speak, read, and write Japanese
-Must have 5+ years of business development and new product marketing experience
-Must have a bachelor's degree or higher
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Constantly expand relevant market, technical and industry knowledge as well as leadership behaviors
