About us

Holy Family Communications is a small business in Williamsville, NY. We are a professional and collaborative Catholic non-profit that promotes the Catholic faith through cutting edge audio and video platforms.

The Radio Producer provides operational, creative, and technical assistance to the production team. This person, under the direction of the Production Manager and Director of Technology, will be responsible for producing live radio and internet video streams as well as operating the audio board and screening calls for live shows. The candidate must possess a strong knowledge of the Catholic faith and what it teaches. The ideal candidate has well-rounded skills, a self-motivated orientation, strong attention to detail, outstanding oral and written communication skills, and the ability to accomplish projects and tasks in a professional and timely manner. . The Station of the Cross is a 501 (c) (3) not-profit Catholic organization. The Radio Producer is a full-time position based in Buffalo, New York, with opportunity for advancement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Produce and engineer live shows, podcasts, and live video streaming.

Collaborate with on-air hosts, screen calls, produce show promos.

Produce and edit radio spots, encore episodes, and show intros.

Create and edit videos for YouTube and Facebook.

Day-to-day production and engineering tasks.

Work on special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of Catholic Church teachings is essential for show production and call screening.

Exceptional computer skills.

Outstanding communications and organizational skills.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.

Ability to think quickly in high pressure situations.

Preferred: Working knowledge of audio boards, audio production and editing.

Preferred: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Specifically: Adobe Audition & Adobe Premiere).

Preferred: Bachelors degree in communications or media arts or equivalent experience.

Willing to work extra hours (evenings and weekends) or cover alternate shifts when necessary.

Ability to travel, valid drivers license (infrequent travel).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
