Job description
Job Title: Inside Sales Account Executive
Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour depending on experience plus health insurance, Commission (10% of product development fees paid quarterly). 3 month impact assessment based on sales performance.
NEP Services is a rapidly growing Newport Beach tech, communications, and fundraising company with a startup vibe. Our primary target markets are Non-profit, Emergency Responders, Labor Unions, Associations, and Charitable Organizations in the First, Labor, Education, and similar vertical markets.

Your job as Inside Sales Account Executive will focus on generating sales traffic by making outbound calls & emails which produce sound data and/or appointments for the outside sales team. You will be on our frontlines, speaking with potential clients, and making NEP Services first impression a good one!
You will act as the first essential communication link between the client leads, sales team, and product development team.
Some sales experience is required but for the right candidate, with the right attitude, performance, and skillset, this job can grow into a full time outside sales position. Emphasis will be placed on those who have a will to succeed, and want to learn an exciting new market in a small fast-paced and growing business. Veterans, military or first responders experience a plus.
Ideal applicants must be friendly, articulate, enthusiastic, self-managed, and productive. Commission structure will be determined based on experience and productivity and will grow with job experience.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Calling for lead cultivation & prospect generation.
- Conduct outreach emails, track, and report into Hubspot CRM.
- Answer inbound sales lead calls & follow sales standard operating procedures on follow up.
- Assist Sales Director with daily administrative tasks.
- Organize and schedule sales meetings and appointments.
- Outbound calling for advertising sales for current nonprofit clients.
- Maintain contact lists, update company CRM, and data enter/collect critical client information.
Quota (90 Day):
- 60 calls a day, new cold leads and 30 follow-up email messages.
- 30 min to 1 hour of pitching practice per week with manager
Requirements:
- Demonstrate strong proactive behavior, self-management, and leadership skills.
- Ability to navigate difficult sales situations through product knowledge, reasoning, and negotiation tactics.
- Active listening skills with ability to discern clients needs, concerns, and directly address those points.
- Persuasive communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask, and prioritize work.
- Ability to forecast deadlines and plan appropriately to achieve desired outcomes in a rapidly changing workplace.
- Ability to potentially travel throughout the year, attend conferences, and work on weekends.
- Proficiency in MS Office, HubSpot, Slack, Zoom and ability to learn specific in-house CRM software.
- Reliable Transportation.
Education: Some College education is preferred or continuing college courses. High school/GED required. For those superstars that become an essential part of our team, the opportunity for bonuses, new project development, territorial expansion, and advancement is great.
Working Conditions: This is a hybrid role, but when you do come into the office you will have your own workspace in our Newport Beach Headquarters. Limited exposure to other staff members. Technical staff is currently 100% remote.
* NEP Services is located in Newport Beach, CA. However, this position can be remote if candidate meets specific criteria, and resides in Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas or Washington.
