Primary Purpose: To increase revenue by developing and maintaining active client referral relationships with target referral sources in the elder care and health care communities in the Monroe County area

Secondary Purpose: To increase general awareness of the Touching Hearts brand as an effective community ambassador

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain referral relationships with individuals and groups at senior living communities, rehab facilities, hospitals, senior service providers, senior care professionals, and health care providers.
• Network within a case, i.e. leverage contacts among our existing clients, and the people and organizations serving them, to develop and strengthen referral source relationships
• Coordinate sales activities with other marketing efforts such as social media and local events
• Attend networking events
• Conduct drop-bys, meetings, presentations and other sales-related activities
• Create and execute effective promotions or marketing ideas
• Distribute promotional gifts, flyers, brochures and other Touching Hearts marketing materials to different locations
• Maintain business development activity records in the Wellsky CRM system
• Gather and report information about competitors
• Client visits and initial client meetings upon request
• Track and report activities and key metrics
• Other duties as required for business operations

We are looking for people whose personal and professional life shows a compassionate heart for older adults, excellent customer service and creative problem solving.

• Excellent communication skillsoral and written
• Self-motivated with a can-do attitude, and ability to adjust to changing situations with grace
• You love working with people, and as a team player you are willing to pitch in to at a moment's notice
• Previous marketing or communications experience in the senior care industry
• Ability to travel, as needed
• The ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds
