Inside Sales Representative The purpose of the position is to provide best in class customer service to our most valued asset, our customer. Dynamic environment and pace. Daily responsibilities include product sourcing, quick quote turnaround, entering customer orders, and building partnerships with our VMI (vendor managed inventory), new and legacy customers.

QUALIFICATIONS
3 years experience with MS Office / Excel / Word.
- Qualified candidates work in a team office environment.
- Two years minimum Inside Sales experience is preferred with a consistent track record working with Outside Sales and managing accounts with a team approach.
- Experience in generating new and maintaining existing business.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Requires an enthusiastic and confident communicator. Excellent verbal, written communication and active listening skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve customer issues with a sense of urgency.
- Demonstrated ability to follow through, manage multiple accounts and provide sales support.
- Self-starter, self-motivated and consistent performer at a high level.
- Thrive in a fast-paced work environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Associate or bachelors degree is preferred.
- References are required.
Class C Components is an industrial distributor of: Abrasives, Adhesives, Cable Management, Electrical, Fasteners, Janitorial, Kitting, Material Handling, MRO, Protective Caps and Plugs, Safety, and Shipping Products, Tapes, Tools and 3M products. Additional services include: an on-site fastener parts kitting department. Experts in the development and implementation of Vendor Managed Inventory programs for OEM and sub-contract manufacturers.
Specific Job Responsibilities
- Maintain effective relationships with suppliers and customers. Promote and maintain the image and reputation of Class C Components. Ensuring customer satisfaction, resolving problems and complaints quickly.
Sales Responsibilities: Responsible for meeting or exceeding company sales and gross profit objectives, developing sales of assigned products, regularly contacting assigned accounts to generate sales of all product lines, sourcing new products for new and existing accounts, and providing customer service including order entry, expediting, follow-up, and other tasks as required.
- Work with Class C Components Outside Sales personnel in the sale of all product lines.
- Develop quotations for customers.
- Work with Purchasing to maintain competitive pricing. Keep in-house records accurate and up to date. Provide accurate, timely documentation of expenses, account activities, and other information as requested.
- Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor or designate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $49,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
