Job Description:

We are looking for an individual with the ability to work well in a team environment, problem-solve, communicate effectively, meet deadlines, maintain professionalism, and manage high-dollar sales deals.

Experience with vehicle financing, titling, and registration is a plus. General skill with computers is required, with a preferred proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and Word, as well as the critical ability to learn various industry and OEM software systems. Candidate will also need to obtain and maintain a Notary Public License, and PAA Service Certification (at the expense of the company). Possession of one or both items is preferred.

The successful candidate will also possess excellent customer service and sales skills to market certain products related to the sale, including financing packages and extended warranty coverages.

The candidate will be a self-starter, able to work independently, and have the desire to grow their sales skills. While the base salary is $25 per hour ($52,000 per year), the successful sale of financing and warranty packages can result in an annual compensation package exceeding $100,000. All required training will be provided, as well as a private office.

Responsibilities & Duties:

Collect and distribute all communications from the OEMs website to the Sales Staff. Including Change Order Reports, Chassis Prebill Reports, and Production Schedules.

Contacting purchasing customers immediately after receipt of a new order to collect pertinent information for vehicle delivery, including all information required to process title and registration paperwork.

After receipt of a new order, collecting any required information from the customer to submit to the dealers approved funding sources in order to obtain financing, then securely filing and organizing the relevant information.

Obtaining and maintaining a PennDOT certification for title and registration processing and managing all the required registration functions for all vehicle sales at the dealership. The same duties will be performed for walk-in customers, as needed.

Keeping up to date with all requirements and communications from PennDOT and ensuring the dealership remains PennDOT compliant.

Managing the processing of all extended warranties purchased on any truck deals, applying for the warranties when required, and confirming that said warranties have been paid for by the customers.

Submitting all documentation to the applicable suppliers for all standard and extended coverages purchased for any truck purchased at the dealership, and for tracking and confirming that those warranties are applied to the units.

Inputting all new truck information into the business system upon receipt of new truck inventory and distributing relevant data to the Sales Team.

Updating the inventory and department profit spreadsheets upon receipt of inventory and sale of trucks, as well as communicating with the Sales Team on any data updates.

Other duties as assigned.

Position Compensation & Commissions

- $25.00 per hour base salary

- 20% of all finance reserves and commissions paid to G.L. Sayre, Inc. by any funding source, on all units that G.L. Sayre, Inc. manages and/or provides the financing for.

- 12-1/2% of any markup on warranties and extended coverage packages sold by members of the Sales Team that are not included on the original factory chassis invoicing and require internal processing.

- 25% of any markup on warranties and extended coverage packages sold by the individual outside of the original factory chassis invoicing.

- $10.00 per unit for all units requiring registration and/or titling.
