Responsibilities: Pronto Insurance is one of the fastest growing general agencies in South Texas. Our first agency was founded in 1997 and the managing general agency operations commenced in 2005. Pronto has emerged in the insurance market through its captive agencies, independent agents, and franchise locations. Today Pronto has over 200 captive locations in Texas and recent expansion into the California and Florida market. Our vision is to become the industry leader by making Pronto Insurance products a reality for all. JOB DESCRIPTION: SALES SUPPORT Employment Status: Full-Time Agency Hours of Operation: 9:00am - 7:00pm, Monday through Friday & 10:00am - 3:00pm Saturdays Licensing requirements: Position requires a min. of a Personal Lines License. Unlicensed new hires will be provided 2 license test attempts and are required to obtain a min. of a Personal Lines License within 60 days of employment. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES The primary purpose of a Sales Support is to support the sales team while providing our customer base with an extended focus on client retention Ensure availability in the phone queues to take incoming agency and company calls Assist Agents/Brokers & Agency Managers with writing of applications and other related transactions Call cancelled policies per the company standard Assist in customer retention efforts as instructed Help Agent/Broker & Agency Managers with their solicitation of leads/prospects while updating company systems as instructed May be assigned the task of daily deposits due by 12 noon each day Deliver exceptional service via telephone and other available interaction options Act as point of contact between insured, insurer, underwriter, and Agent/Brokers Any other duties that are identified and assigned at a later date KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS Must be 18 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED Applicants must be ready and able to pass insurance licensing test or have a minimum of an active PL license (required for continued employment) Computer literate with the ability to help customers and provide information in a friendly and courteous manner Outgoing attitude with the ability to approach the general public to promote company Must be able to help customers, provide information, and process payments quickly and attentively in a friendly positive manner. Bilingual in English & Spanish, a plus.
