Our client is continuing to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented Sales and Use Tax Accountant to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and use tax compliance, with the ability to navigate complex multi-state regulations and ensure compliance with state and local tax laws. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking for an amazing company working a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities include:

• Prepare and file sales and use tax returns in multiple locations
• Conduct research on sales and use tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
• Assist with sales and use tax audits and inquiries
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide tax guidance and support
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in sales and use tax compliance

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in sales and use tax compliance
• Strong understanding of state and local tax laws and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
