JOB DESCRIPTION:

The primary function of this position is to manage customer accounts and programs from an internal Company standpoint. The successful candidate must professionally service the needs of our customers by striving to continuously improve performance, thereby increasing our advantage in the market place. This position provides support to field sales, management, and operations.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Enter and update customer orders with impeccable accuracy into the Company business system.

- Coordinate competitive price information received from customers.

- Interpret and administer customer forecast data and mill capacity planning information.

- Respond to customers regarding ability to meet specific product-processing needs.

- Proactively sell the divisions products or services by calling on prospective or established customers.

EDUCATION/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelors Degree in a business, marketing, or related discipline preferred.

- Three to five years marketing and sales experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.

- Knowledge of mechanical tubing industry a plus.

- Must possess excellent people skills and work well with others inside and outside the Company.

- Excellent communication, planning and organizing skills, and the ability to solve problems.

- Excellent proficiency in computer technologies including Excel.

- Must possess a solid understanding of business practices, scheduling, and manufacturing operations.

- Must place a high value on customer service, integrity, and trustworthiness.

- Must be a goal-oriented, self-starter capable of handling many tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Must demonstrate an ability to work with detailed specifications and understand technical product requirements.

- Knowledge of SAP a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Candidate must be available for potential travel, possess the physical ability to climb stairs, bend, stoop and move throughout the plant as needed, sit for long periods of time, perform repetitive movements, occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and possess the ability to hear and speak clearly, in English, in person and over the phone.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $57,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
