SUMMARY
iPlay America is seeking a career minded individual to work in its corporate and Special Events department. IPA features over 30,000 SF of Event Space suited for various types of events in addition to its TGSS multifunctional space. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administrative tasks to facilitate events.
- Delivering sales by developing relationships with corporate organizations selling services and facilities offered by the company. This includes proposals and contracts.
- Work with multiple departments within the company to ensure seamless event execution.
- Responsible for all function billing by preparing invoices, creating payments schedules, managing payment schedules, and finalizing payments.
- Responsible for finalizing guaranteed attendance numbers.
- Work with the F & B team to ensure all arrangements and details are dealt with.
- Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets.
- Prepare contracts and plan out events inc. but not limited to menu selection, AV and stage requirements, timelines, final headcount, coordination with outside vendors, preparation of BEO & pre and post P&L, collection of all monies due & finalizing the event.
- Increasing market share in existing markets and maximize new business development opportunities.
- Achieving targets for revenue, profitability, and sales growth.
- Being current with all industry standards and changes in the marketplace and ideas for new business advances.
- Work to achieve all sales goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
The hours required for this position will be a minimum of 40 hours per week recognizing that additional hours will be required to service your accounts and reach your sales goals.
This is an office-based position; however, the Corporate & Special Events Sales Representative will also spend time visiting clients. You may also need to attend conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions. Your job may involve travel.

This position will require you to work some nights, weekends, and holidays for events you have sold if required.
Salary $45,000 plus generous commissions
