Managed Services Solutions Architect

Are you a driven and experienced Solutions Architect looking for a new challenge?

ACP is seeking a talented individual to bridge the gap between sales and support for our Managed Service customers and drive new managed service opportunities to closure.

As a Managed Services Solutions Architect, you will work closely with sales reps, managed service field engineers, customers, and managed service practice leaders to design and price managed service solutions that align with the customers business needs, goals, and current infrastructure, while adhering to ACP standards and best practices.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with engineers in cloud, cyber security, infrastructure, and voice, as well as technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers.

Your essential duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Crafting and adhering to the NextGen Managed Service platform
  • Proactively scoping technical solutions to address customer requirements
  • Participating in technical presentations to explain our products and services
  • Securing input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customers organization
  • Coordinating closely with sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers business requirements
  • Providing coaching and professional development to team-member sales associates
  • Pursuing additional business development opportunities within customer organizations
  • Monitoring the managed service pre-sales pipeline and managing the pre-sales process for Managed Service
  • Maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards

Knowledge, Education & Experience

  • Associate or Bachelors degree (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, sales engineering, or managed service solution design in a business-to-business or large/strategic customer segment
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Managed Services organization
  • A record of achievement and technical solution expertise in a comparable role
  • Product certification, engineering credential, or equivalent technical credential
