The Standard Design Group Nurseries invites passionate individuals with expertise in outdoor plants to join our team. As a prominent nursery and landscape company, we aim to deliver exceptional gardening and landscape solutions. This full-time opportunity allows you to work at our vibrant Vista location!

Primary Duties:

• Deliver outstanding customer service and sales support, guiding clients in selecting and purchasing the right plants/trees for their projects.
• Undertake general nursery maintenance, including watering, pricing, stocking inventory, and loading plants for customers.
• Contribute to Saturday sales meetings and continuously expand your knowledge of our product offerings.
• Maintain adherence to safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions.
• Work closely with the company design team on customer projects.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge and passion for outdoor plants, capable of identifying and advising on plant/tree selections.
• Experience in nursery, greenhouse, or landscape settings preferred.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks like bending, stooping, kneeling, and working outdoors.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to following instructions accurately.
• Self-motivated with a keen interest in gardening and a desire to learn and adapt.
• Previous sales and/or customer service experience is beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
