As an entry level Sale Representative, you will be responsible for direct sales to the end consumer/business purchaser through primary field (i.e., face-to-face) interactions with customers. Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales of Multiplex brands, products, and/or services. Works with customers to find what they want, creates solutions, and ensures a seamless sales process.
Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, this position is based in New Albany IN*.
Major Accountability:
- Generate sales to new and existing customers as well as cross/up/repeat sales to existing customers.
- Assessing customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services, and/or solutions.
- Developing and delivering sales bids, proposals, and presentations and conducting product demonstrations.
- Supporting special projects with customers
- Shadowing and supporting Director of strategic accounts to develop skills with large customers.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships with assigned customers.
- Cold Calling and relationship development with potential customers assigned.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Support with reporting for major customers or special projects.
- Keep abreast of best practices and trends.
- Continuously improve through feedback
- Maintain accurate customer information and generate reports on sales activities, achievements, and challenges for management review.

Qualifications:
- Associate degree preferred or will consider 2 years experience in lieu of.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Applies broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education.
- Demonstrated capacity for effective interactions with all levels of staff and management.
- Exceptional time management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Highly motivated and target driven.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Willingness to travel and attend events as needed.
Working Conditions:
- Typical office environment: Prolonged periods of sitting while at a computer. Role requires significant outside sales at customer sites.
- Must be able to travel domestically up to 25% of the time.
