2023 was a record-breaking growth year for City Wide of Boston and as a result, we are seeking a top performing B2B sales hunter! This candidate will excel at finding and closing new business and embrace phone prospecting and cold calling to create opportunities in their protected territory.
First year target total compensation is $100K - $125k+ which includes base salary, commissions, bonuses and car allowance! 2nd Year on target earnings is $120k-150K+.
As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for new business development in a highly productive, sales-driven environment. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle, from lead generation to close. Working closely with account managers and your sales team, you will establish and nurture mutually profitable business relationships with clients.
What are we looking for in a Sales Executive?
You are a strong hunter and can easily explain the activity levels needed to maintain a full pipeline and reach your goals. You have existing relationships that will help you quickly establish a portfolio of clients. You have exceptional listening and questioning skills, love to find and close new business, sell value instead of price.

In this position you will:
- Identify and qualify potential clients via phone, email, and field visit cold calls
- Initiate the sales process by scheduling appointments, understand account requirements, and make initial presentations.
- Closes sales by building rapport with potential accounts, explaining our service capabilities, overcoming objections, and preparing contracts.
- Utilize and manage your customer relationship management system (CRM) to maintain all customer information.
- Assist with Sales Ops Walkthroughs and New Starts
Requirements
Successful candidates must have strong consultative selling skills as well as exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Quota carrying B2B combined inside and outside sales experience.
- High school diploma required. Bachelors degree is highly preferred.
- Strong MS Office and CRM systems
- Prior sales training certificate, e.g., Sandler, Presidents Club, Dale Carnegie, etc., preferred.
- An excellent communicator with the ability to facilitate a presentation or a one-to-one meeting
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate team activities and work effectively with operations and marketing teams
