The Sales Account Manager oversees various Clients and project activities to maintain and build relationships and secure opportunities. Builds existing and new relationships with all clients with on-site visits, team building events, regular communications, collect all feedback, stay consistent, anticipate all customer needs, social media engagement and continue to provide value to clients. This role requires a mix of communication skills, strategic thinking and a knack for problem solving.
Basic Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with OEM, Tier-1 and other clients, understanding their needs and ensuring complete satisfaction.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets of $20M in new sales annually, considering market trends and competitor activities.
Product/Process knowledge: Stay on top of automotive and manufacturing industry trends, technological advancements, and product knowledge to effectively communicate the value proposition to all clients.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development and customer service to ensure a cohesive approach to client needs.
Quota Management: Set realistic sales targets, monitor progress through weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual KPIs to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales quotas.
Market Analysis: Analyze market and customer trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting the sales approach accordingly.
Negotiations: Lead negotiations with clients, addressing concerns, and closing deals in a way that aligns with both customer satisfaction and company profitability.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and future strategies to upper management
Skills/Knowledge
Problem solving and a knack for identifying challenges.

Self-motivator
Good leadership skills
Use or understanding of all marketing tools.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or account management, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth.
Excellent understanding of the automotive manufacturing landscape and its current trends.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients at all levels.
Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
