Full description of the position
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced salesperson in the field of public transport technology, with a special focus on fare collection systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to promote and sell specialised technology for public transport, including fare collection management systems and other related products.
- Identify and prospect potential customers in the public transport sector, including transport companies, government authorities and transport system operators.
- Conduct product presentations and technical demonstrations for potential customers, highlighting the benefits and features of the technology on offer.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing exceptional after-sales service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the product development team to understand market needs and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that meet the demands of the public transport sector.
- Keep abreast of trends and developments in public transport technology, as well as relevant regulations and standards in the sector.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, including market analysis, customer follow-up and sales projections.
- Participate in industry events and trade fairs to promote products and establish business contacts.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in public transport technology sales, preferably with a focus on fare collection management systems.
- Strong knowledge of the public transport sector, including its operations, challenges and current trends.
- Demonstrated sales skills, including the ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information to potential customers.
- Customer orientation and the ability to build strong customer relationships.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented attitude.
- Basic technical knowledge of collection management systems and related technologies.
- Willingness to travel as required to fulfil the responsibilities of the position.
