Title: Capture Manager

Status: Full Time / Exempt

Location: Remote/ San Antonio, TX

Job Summary:

The Capture Manager is responsible for securing existing and winning new business opportunities by utilizing The Intellekt Group?s robust capture process. This role influences development of solutions that impact strategic project/program goals and business results, while recommending and implementing new solutions, processes, policies, standards that result in a winning proposal. The Capture Manager develops and implements a business development approach that aligns company capabilities with customer needs to deliver winning solutions. The ideal Capture Manager candidate will have the ability to envision a winning solution, develop a corresponding capture, and mature the opportunity up to and through proposal submission. The Capture Manager will also collaborate with and prepare the Operations team for post-award execution.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develops the overall win strategy for assigned opportunities
  • Coordinates and facilitate strategy development, technical, and management solution sessions with subject matter experts
  • Leads capture activities by conducting full life cycle business development activities
  • Conducts new business prospecting and development including cold calling, scheduling client introductions and meetings, preparing presentations, preparing proposals, and reviewing bid specifications to win new business
  • Performs Bid Assessments to determine opportunity viability and P-Win
  • Performs Gap Analyses to identify areas where we may need to partner
  • Analyzes teammate capabilities and reputation to identify beneficial partnerships
  • Makes informed recommendations during Gate Reviews throughout the BD process
  • Analyzes Price-to-Win strategy on opportunities and provides pricing recommendations
  • Supports the proposal development process in coordination with the Proposal Manager in pursuit of winning opportunities
  • Fosters and maintains strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners while meeting or exceeding revenue and margin targets
  • Meets with client and partner stakeholders on a frequent basis to discuss clients' future directions, goals, challenges, and hot buttons
  • Travels as required to support capture activities
