Job Description:
Are you eager to learn, ready to develop and finally provide a service that matters and in an industry that is only going up? We are a fast-growing IT Support company in need of an experienced Client Manager to join our team in providing exceptional IT services to small and medium-sized businesses both on and off Cape Cod in Massachusetts, New England and beyond. Our Client Management Team manages and takes ownership of a specific book of business. They meet virtually and face-to-face as needed with each client. This process starts from the initial onboarding phase through Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and annual overviews. You will develop, grow and retain business relationships to ensure each client is functioning at its highest technical level. Ultimately, your responsibility is to ensure that our clients technology is aligned with their corporate goals and objectives. This minimizes downtime and allows our clients to grow!
Basic Functions:
- Manage a book of business; meeting regularly with clients from initial onboarding through quarterly and annual reviews.
- Partner with Sales Director, Network Administrator/Director Of Operations and Service Manager, on ownership of your client portfolio and aligning those needs with our best practices and standards.
- Recommending solutions to clients that match their business goals and objectives.
- Ensure that our clients technology is aligned with corporate goals and objectives.
- Using an existing and successful long-term IT strategy to drive vision for clients and execute that strategy up to C-level executives.
- Take ownership of client issues and initiatives; represent client interests to internal teams.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend weekly sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company policy.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalog and how it relates to customers needs.
- Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
- Responsible for entering time and expenses in ConnectWise as they occur.
- Understand processes in ConnectWise by completing assigned training materials and blueprints on the ConnectWise University.
- Enter all work as activities or service tickets in ConnectWise.

- Outside sales experience with selling relevant services and products.
- Possess a track record of managing the customer commitment, negotiation, and closing of the sales process.
- Demonstrated level of success in the development of client relationships.
- Enjoy working with customers and external audiences.
- High energy and drive with good negotiation skills.
- Proficient with general office applications.
- Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Skill in preparing written communications and materials.
- Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening and customer-care.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changes quickly.
- Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate data entry.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience consulting for small and medium-sized businesses.
- Knowledge of IT best practices in the SMB market.
- Experience working directly with Manager-level up to C-level executives.
- Experience establishing a long-term and mutually beneficial strategy.
Preferred Technical Experience:
- Experience working for an MSP preferred, not required.
Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:
- BA/BS, preferably in marketing, advertising, business management or related field.
- 3 years of sales or customer relations experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
