Description

Headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama, Fastening Solutions (FSI) regionally distributes and markets pneumatic tools, fasteners and packaging products to manufacturers, lumber yards, and contractors.

Specifically, FSI focuses on selling industry-specific, innovative packaging solutions and wood fasteners consisting of collated nails, staples, screws, and tools.

The Inside Sales/Service Technician must be a self-motivated, dedicated worker and mechanically inclined. This person must also possess keen people skills and be a clear communicator.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist customers with product needs.

• Take phone calls.

• Navigate our point-of-sale system for counter transactions.

• Pick, ship, and receive orders for customers using our warehouse management system.

• Manage inventory daily through stock count implementation.

• Ability to learn to read mechanical schematics and illustrated parts breakdowns to ultimately

repair pneumatic tools. (Knowledge of pneumatic tools is a plus)

• Perform all other duties and tasks assigned by branch manager.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent

• Mechanically inclined

• Must be a self-starter and highly motivated.

• Reliable

• Must be physically capable of loading and unloading boxes up to, but not limited to

50lbs

• Bilingual in Spanish and English (a plus)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
