Position Summary
As an Account Executive, you will join a sales team dedicated to the servicing and growth of the applicable market(s). In this role, you will collaborate with other members of the sales team to develop robust account plans that align with key priorities and ensure that our travel partners have access to the support and resources they need to improve our market share and revenue quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage account relationship and expertise to identify potential leads and opportunities, and surface them to the Head of Sales and BDMs
- Implement account strategic plans for each managed partner that align with key priorities and improve overall yields, market share, and revenue quality
- Leverage relationships to identify the unique needs of partners, and work with Head of Sales and BDMs to address any product and opportunity gaps in the account strategic plan
- Build and maintain relationships with partners to ensure Hawaiian is effectively promoted and develop and execute a robust selling and servicing plan that is aligned to each partner's business model and HA's key priorities.
- Work with Head of Sales and/or BDM to negotiate contracts with key partners as required, and provide ongoing contract management support
- Create, maintain and utilize CRM data to manage partner relationships, record interactions, and track opportunities in support of key priorities
- Lead account performance reviews involving relevant internal and partner stakeholders
- Monitor partner performance against KPIs, investigate reasons behind observed changes, and share findings with the sales team to ensure they are focused on key priorities that optimize the partners profitability at any given time
- Provide adequate and timely feedback on achievements, deficiencies, market trends and challenges together with recommendations and insights on issues to support the decision-making process, drive incremental sales, and protect the overall interest and the profitability of the airline
- Collaborate with Head of Sales and BDMs to develop and execute a sales promo strategy as part of the account strategic plan
- Participate in cooperative marketing activity with key internal and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration through open and consistent communication
- Provide sales team with training and resources to help them promote and sell sales programs, products, and services developed as part of sales strategy
- Consistently engage with partners per the servicing plan committed to in the account strategic plan
- Presentations & product updates to customers as required
- Performing administrative duties as required
- Regularly interact with executive leadership to provide updates on accounts and market performance and progress towards strategic priorities
- Assist with providing information to help measure the financial impact of the sales strategy
- Other duties as assigned or directed
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of B2B sales experience
- Extensive experience in developing, implementing & managing account plans to retain revenues and capture upsell opportunities
- Ability to build strategic partnerships and exceptional relationships with agency partners
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of applicable travel market(s) and airline industry
- Highly analytical, logical with strong decision making and critical thinking skills
- Strong computer skills specifically including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and experience with a customer relationship management (CRM) platform
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Strong planning and organizational skills including the ability to multitask
- Fluency in written and spoken English and if applicable Native language is required
- Domiciled near the office location, or willing to relocate to the area
- Legally authorized to work in the country where the office is located

Please note that the provided salary information serves as a general guideline. Our salary is determined by a candidate's experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations. The expected pay range is $62,000 - $82,000.
