Safety Storage, Inc. of Charleston, Illinois has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Manager. Safety Storage is the premier manufacturer of hazardous material storage containment buildings and systems. Reporting to executive management in this key role the Sales Manager is responsible for the day-to-day responsibilities of the sales department and administrative duties required by the accounting department. The position requires the employee to work at the Charleston facility during normal business hours with minimum travel required.

Sales - Responsibilities include:

Establish and present a reoccurring training program for existing independent representatives including onboarding of new representatives as deemed by executive management

Manage the Safety Storage Price Book revisions and updates to current costs as required

Develop technical knowledge of various codes and regulations to specify building requirements

Interacting with customers on product offering and design specification to their needs

Provide professionalism when interacting with customers and team members

Creating timely quotations and customer follow through for internal sales

Review purchase orders for accuracy, taxes, freight, insurance, bonds, Terms & Conditions, etc.

Participate in the new order review process ensuring orders are compliant to state and federal codes

Resolve customer related issues related to purchase orders, discrepancies, or conflicts

Invoicing for internal and external sales in accordance with the agreed terms & conditions

Interact and support independent representatives inquiries while interacting with internal cross-functional team members providing timely responses

Creating alerts and monitor various external sites for sales opportunities

Manage website leads and forward to external representatives by territory

Provide timely updates to the pipeline report

Manage marketing collateral inventory, and trade show logistics as requested

Other sales administrative duties as required

Job Requirements

Associates Business Administration, BA preferred, others considered

5 years of applicable experience

Electrical and Mechanical knowledge, +HVAC

Experience with Microsoft 365, Smartsheet, +Access Data Base

Base salary position with no commissions provided

+ Experiences Marketing Responsibilities include:

Website management and updates with enhanced graphic designs

Develop and enhance social media marketing efforts

Develop analytics and succinctly describe cause and effects to desired outcomes

Manage the SEO for all websites and pages

Conduct marketing research for new and existing product opportunities

Other marketing administrative duties as required
