Wisconsin Management Company (WMC) is hiring Leasing Consultants in Fitchburg, either part- or full-time. Our ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, however we will consider others who have the right attitude and experience.

Job Summary
The Leasing Consultant assists the Property Manager in maintaining occupancy of the assigned property, to maximize its financial returns. This aligns with marketing and leasing plans and owners objectives. All residents are provided with a clean and well-maintained community.
Principal Duties
- Marketing & Leasing
Recommend and assist in preparing marketing and advertising programs; assist in monitoring program effectiveness
Maintain a working knowledge of the property market through market study and analysis; recommend ways to remain competitive
Respond to leasing inquiries and conduct showings of apartments in accordance with policies and Fair Housing requirements
Ensure apartment models and vacancies are ready for showings and move-ins
Effectively communicate property features and amenities to prospects
Process application paperwork
Assist in coordinating and processing lease and move-in paperwork, collecting rent, and handling delinquency matters
Assist in the preparation of all weekly and monthly stat reporting
2. Administrative
Answer phone and schedule showings and appointments
Assist Property Manager in resident relations
Distribute company or community-issued notices
Assist in generating, distributing, and monitoring renewal notices; follow up with residents accordingly
Maintain necessary records of all financial matters
Adhere to all appropriate accounting policies, including, but not limited to, use of account numbers, daily income requirements, expense requirements, accounts payable restrictions, etc.
Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and professionals servicing the company and/or property
3. Other
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
Maintain working knowledge of the computer and company software
Record all resident correspondence as necessary
Maintain a working knowledge of all fair housing laws, policies, and practices
Be fair and consistent in upholding Fair Housing and other policies, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Skills/Qualifications
- 2 years customer service experience with demonstrated lease-up success preferred
- Working knowledge of personnel, accounting, leasing, maintenance, marketing, and resident retention policies and programs
- Good human relations skills and the ability to work well with others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with PC systems and Microsoft Office software
- Ability to work in leasing management software (experience with Yardi preferred)
- Valid drivers license, reliable work vehicle, and maintain current vehicle insurance
Pay Range: $18-$19
