Wichert Insurance is looking for a full-time personal lines account manager to work from our Somerset office. There is the potential to work from home up to 2 days per week after an initial training period.

The Personal Lines Account Manager provides customer service, policy maintenance and coverage placement for an assigned group of personal lines insured.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to external customers and work as a team with coworkers
• Process various insurance transactions needed to maintain client files including quoting & issuing new business, and making policy changes
• Recommend insurance coverages to clients and offering additional coverages when needed
• Determine appropriate premium for policy transactions through the use of automated rating systems
• Maintain client files according to company standards

Knowledge & Skills Required

• 3 or more years experience working with personal lines insurance
• Licensed in state of Ohio for property-casualty insurance
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of agency management system--AMS360 & WorkSmart preferred
• Computer operation and keyboarding skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Solid oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
