Our company is seeking an experienced and motivated Property Manager to manager several propoerties in the New Haven Area. The Supportive Housing Property Manager is responsible for assisting in the operational oversight of the property within a supportive housing model. This position ensures that property management services are responsive to the needs of tenants and support high levels of tenant retention in accordance with service providers Mission, Core Values, and Customer Service Philosophy.

• Oversight for all areas of the property including operations, resident relations, compliance, maintenance and finances.
• Processing move in/outs
• Ensure that property functions are being completed in a timely manner.
• Responsible for ensuring that each property is in full compliance with all State and Federal Regulations.
• Coordination of REAC, MOR and other agency inspections, audit preparations
• Maintain communications with staff, clients and outside agencies.
• Effectively manage site employees, contractors and vendors.
• Collect rent, maintain full occupancy.
• Complete annual re-certifications.
• Work with the service provider to foster program development and achieve targeted objectives and outcomes.
• Partner and coordinate within the department and with other service provider departments to meet objectives and ensure comprehensive services.
• Requirements:
• Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) required.
• In depth knowledge of HUD subsidy programs and procedures.
• Knowledge and experience in a supportive housing model.
• Must have affordable housing experience.
• Must have strong communication skills. Verbal and written.
• Must have a successful track record of managing properties and staff.
• Minimum 3 years of property management experience.
