Brown & Brown is looking for a Sales Administrative Assistant to join our Commercial Lines Team in Ft. Myers! The sales administrative assistant serves as the point of contact for sales representatives who are out in the field meeting clients and making sales.

We are excited to provide training and development for this entry level opportunity. This role requires full-time, in-office availability Monday-Friday and is an excellent start to a career in the Insurance industry!

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Request Loss Runs from carrier or online as needed or directed
  • Pre-Renewal Checklists to assist Account Service Managers with renewal marketing process, including assisting in preparing applications and proposals.
  • Request Additional Information from Insured (driver information, updated renewal information, follow-up voluntary audit forms, recommendations made by loss control, etc.)
  • Build and Maintain Client Relationship, phone, email and meeting contacts
  • Complete and submit Loss Notices, Mail Claim Follow-up to Insured; follow-up on all open claims and process all claims documentation as directed, to assist the service team.
  • Ensure that actions protect the Agency from claims of liability for errors or omissions and that all tasks are professionally performed.
  • Complete Budgets/Create Budget Templates
  • Prepare Summary of Coverages
  • Assist with Executive Summaries
  • Assist with Cold Calling Lists
  • Assist with Applications for new business
  • Manage LinkedIn/other social platforms
  • Verifying quotes match pre-renewal notes and review proposals
  • Input prospects into CRM
  • Review invoices and finance agreements for accuracy

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • High School diploma required (college degree preferred)
  • Minimum one-year job experience
  • 4-40 Agent's License required (2-20 preferred)
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus!
