Diligent Delivery Systems is a National Delivery and Logistics company that supports Large National and Major accounts across the U.S. The Major Account Specialist is part of the business growth division. The Major Account Specialist will work directly with the Sales Operations Coordinator, operations, accounting, and Software Support Division to sustain current and new Major Accounts. As an integral part of the account management team, you will make certain routes, timing schedules, rates, and accessorial charges are tracked and invoiced properly for the account assigned. There may be several accounts assigned to this position.

The top priority for this position is to help make sure the client receives accurate invoices & reporting, so that it is easy for the client to audit their invoices. This will include all duties below and additional assignments when needed. The successful candidates will play a critical role in assisting the Corporate Growth initiative with internal duties and client requests within this process.

This position is not remote - M-F at our corporate office. (9200 Derrington Rd, Houston, TX 77064)

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (The below listed are not all inclusive. This position must perform other duties as assigned.):

Review driver timecards to analyze overtime associated with the client daily

Correlate overtime with routes in CXT & enter for billing

Enter charges in DMS for billing

Review toll account to analyze tolls associated with the client daily

Correlate tolls with routes in CXT & enter for billing

Enter charges in DMS for billing

Review mileages to analyze any excess miles daily

Correlate excess miles with routes in CXT & enter for billing

Enter charges in DMS for billing

Monitor dispatch board throughout the day, everyday

Notify operators of routes running late

Notify operators & SOC of routes consistently late

Run invoicing through CXT & communicate data to accounting

Provide accounting with accurate amount for billing

Edit invoicing report with DMS invoice numbers for client reference weekly

Updates made my SOC in Excel & approved by client

Will make changes in CXT to take effect on clients target date

Qualifications:

High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel

3 years of Administrative Assistant or Project Management duties a plus

Valid Driver's License

Knowledge and Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to maintain accuracy under pressure

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Logistics Experience preferred

Knowledge of CXT or other delivery software a plus

Be process & detail oriented

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience
