Job Description:

The Sales & Design Consultant position is responsible for maintaining consistent and positive sales experiences by offering exceptional customer service and supporting the team. Assist in the development, implementation and/or monitoring of programs to maximize revenue, control expenses and ensure a level of service that results in high customer loyalty and satisfaction. The successful candidate for this position should be comfortable with a variety of responsibilities and possess the ability to adapt to a vibrant work environment.

Qualifications

Sales and industry knowledge experience preferred but not required

Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

Experience preferred with Quickbooks / Microsoft Excel / Word

Internet skills social media platforms and website navigation

Responsibilities

Ability to analyze customers needs and effectively communicate sales, promotions and service options for the best solution

Accounts payable / receivable on Quickbooks - data entry, customer payment postings, estimates, invoices, and purchase orders

Develop, implement, and maintain marketing strategies to increase sales ie. rotating catalog of remnants for online sales

Serves as the lead customer service contact in the showroom including welcoming, answering questions and other related communications.

Maintain updated pricing on the sales floor

Execute the daily operational tasks, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by management.

Schedule: Includes weekdays and Saturdays

Salary: Hourly rate depending on experience

Start Date: Immediately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

• Merchandising: 1 year (Preferred)
• Sales: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• New Milford, CT 06776 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• New Milford, CT 06776: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
