Job Summary:
The Employee Benefit Account Manager is the primary day-to-day client champion for the functioning of the benefit plans. This position requires deep subject matter expertise in implementation, administration, client services and insurance marketing.
Responsibilities:
  • Retention of existing clients and assistance with the onboarding of new clients
  • Provides exceptional service to clients while ensuring they receive services that align with their strategic goals
  • Responsible for the maintenance of client information ensuring that service standards are met and compliance is ensured
  • Supports the development of client renewal strategies
  • Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with team members and clients
  • Corresponds with clients, prospects and company representatives in a professional manner
  • Cultivates a team environment that promotes professionalism and encourages others to excel
  • Proactively works towards achieving agency and team goals
  • Maintains a positive attitude and show enthusiasm toward job accountabilities and objectives
  • Performs work activities in an accurate manner and with the proper sense of urgency
  • Stays up to date on new insurance developments to enhance professional working knowledge and competence
  • Proactively seeks knowledge of and uses the resources/tools available
  • Pursue continued development both professionally and emotionally within the work environment
  • Acts as a catalyst for change within the company to ensure positive procedures and systems within the service teams and positive results for our clients
Skills, Experience & Licenses:
  • Current Insurance License in Health and Life (preferred)
  • Ability to work toward additional professional designations
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent Verbal & written communication abilities
  • Ability to work well on a team
  • Strong organization & multi-tasking abilities
