The Connection/News-Herald/Loudon County Magazine a division of Loudon County Publishers Inc. is in search of an energetic, motivated Multi Media Sales Person to join our award-winning team!

Loudon County is located only a few miles from the Great Smoky Mountains and just outside Knoxville, Tenn. the home of the University of Tennessee Volunteers. Long known as "the lakeway to the Smokies," Loudon County's lakes and rivers provide a unique outdoor experience including fishing, boating, golfing, hiking, camping and more.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

The ideal candidate will educate and sell multimedia products and services to an established business clientele base, as well as develop new customers.

Working closely with new and existing accounts, the ideal candidate will strive to help local businesses and organizations grow their interests through a variety of multi-media platforms such as print, digital, video, email and direct mail.

PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED:

• 
  We prefer one to three years outside sales experience; digital sales experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 
  Reliable transportation required. Must maintain a current valid driver's license and current proof of vehicle liability insurance.
• Perform job duties and conduct self in accordance with the company's core values.
• Initiate and nurture effective, professional relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Support and achieve individual and company goals.
• Organized.
• Attend departmental meetings and company meetings as scheduled.
• Maintain and submit daily sales call log.
• Correspond through email, phone and meeting with clients face-to-face.
• Learn and sell digital products as they are introduced to the company.
