About The Role

As an Amazon Ecommerce Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our products on the Amazon platform. You will be responsible for strategic planning, implementation, and management of various aspects of our Amazon operations, including product expansion, vendor compliance, account management, advertising, operations, project management, and content management.

Strategic Management & Implementation:

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand product range or categories in alignment with company objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement and manage product launch strategies on Amazon.
  • Proactively manage and optimize listings to increase sales and revenue.
  • Take ownership of discount/promotional calendar, set up promotions, and analyze profitability, inventory, and sell-through at the item level.
  • Familiarity with Amazon ordering, importing, and forecasting practices.

Vendor Compliance & Relationship Management:

  • Ensure compliance with Amazon's rules, regulations, and standards.
  • Stay updated with Amazon's policy changes and implement them effectively.
  • Negotiate with Amazon's vendor management team to optimize terms of deals, promotions, and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within Amazon.

Amazon Account Management:

  • Monitor product catalog and maintain product health on Amazon.
  • Execute product page maintenance and digital asset execution.
  • Track and analyze ASIN performance, rankings, ratings, and customer reviews.
  • Extract actionable insights from marketplace data analytics to inform strategy.
  • Review competitor product listings to identify best practices and new opportunities.
  • Analyze sales performance and prepare internal reports regularly.
  • Assist in demand planning and product pricing.

Advertising:

  • Develop and refine an AMS/PPC/DSP strategy to drive profitable growth.
  • Communicate with Amazon to ensure smooth running of paid efforts with focus on scalable ROI.
  • Manage products to include in Ads aligned with company focus.
  • Generate and execute new advertising ideas independently.

Operations & Project Management:

  • Improve operating procedures with cross-functional departments.
  • Coordinate and manage projects related to the Amazon platform.
  • Collaborate with accounting and agencies to action and minimize chargebacks.
  • Forecast, measure growth, and plan procurement with our purchasing team.

Content Management:

  • Upload and optimize product listings, content, and visual assets.
  • Communicate with our graphics team regarding the image asset needs and establish standard operating procedures.
  • Execute merchandising strategy and create SEO enriched content.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
  • 3 years of experience in ecommerce account management, specifically with Amazon.
  • Vendor Central Experience is a MUST.
  • Proficiency in Amazon Seller Central and advertising platforms (AMS, PPC, DSP).
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and extract actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and optimizing Amazon listings.
