POSITION DETAILS
This position is an outside sales position. Candidates can expect to spend most of their time making outside sales calls, running meetings, preparing quotes, supporting assigned customer leads. The focus of this position is to work with new commercial customers and connect them to the NEW fiber network. This opportunity is unique as this is a brand-new greenfield opportunity! In addition, you will uncover opportunities to provide technology solutions like colocation, connectivity, virtual private networks, and public/private cloud architecture. You should be skilled at presenting complex solutions to IT managers as well as C level Executives. Some leads are generated and assigned to you. There is a support team that provides assistance with appointment setting and contract processing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
- Reach out to target prospects through cold calling. Must be able to cold call! Manage your daily activities at a high-volume pace of prospecting touches and cold calls daily
- Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects and recommending solutions
- Acquire new revenue generating accounts utilizing solution-selling process
- Ability to log sales activities, and opportunities accurately into our CRM software and proficient in Microsoft excel
- Conduct in person or conference call customer meetings, potential local travel to customer sites
- Follow up with resources to assure deadlines are met and quality standards are achieved, while providing customer with timely and thorough updates on status and resolution with follow-up documentation on all actions
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a great attitude, professional appearance, results oriented skills, and be self- motivated. Outstanding organizational and time-management skills a must.
- B2B experience as an outside Sales Executive selling complex solutions preferred
- Ability to consistently identify new sources of business through high volume activity.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills and Excellent ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences, including non-technical.
- Strong networking skills and efficient in utilizing social medial for marketing and prospecting
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (e.g., Suite CRM) is a plus.
- A reliable vehicle and valid drivers license required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $129,500.00 per year
