Growing commercial auto insurance company is seeking insurance producers (3 open positions). The right candidate will be taking incoming calls from potential clients, providing insurance price quotes, and writing commercial auto insurance policies. You will be joining a diverse team of insurance professionals. Full training is provided. If the candidate currently does not posses a New Jersey Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license we will fund the required school and examination fees.

Status: Non-Exempt

Hours of Operation: The position is full time with Standard 40 hour M-F during the week with optional weekend (Saturday) overtime.

Compensation: Base Hourly Pay with Commissions

Duties may include:

• Establish client relationships, market appropriate insurance specifically trucking and commercial insurance
• Effectively build relationships with insurance company underwriters through a pattern of professional risk submissions, company visitations, and negotiations
• Assist in the analysis of line of business and insurance company production trends and make recommendations to correct deficiencies
• Conduct sales, service, and solicitation of all forms of insurance business
• Providing excellent customer service by processing payments & report claims
• Conducting needs-based policy reviews and updating policies
• Cross-selling existing customers with products
• Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referrals
• Generating quotes
• Conducting policy reviews & updating policies

Requirements:

• Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills both written and on the phones.
• Confident, self-starter who works well independently
• Must have ability to multi-task
• Good organizational skills
• Must be a Self -Starter
• Must demonstrate a positive attitude

Salary: $50,000 first year

Must be available to work immediately

Pay: $50,341.00 - $150,000.00 per year
