Position Objection:
The Account Director is a senior level position that provides leadership to the program and programming staff for the Humana Project. The Account Director is responsible for developing and fostering relationships with community organizations to focus on program growth.
Position Responsibilities:

  • Planning execution of all activities in Statement of Work (SOW)
  • Executive oversight for the client account
  • Managing escalations beyond Director II and working through resolution with Client [AM1]
  • Ensures Supplier resources are acting in accordance with client strategy, processes, and procedures
  • Ensures annual training of supplier resources
  • Ensures all required metrics under this contract are being tracked and reported to the client in a timely manner
  • Coordinates and implements strategies for supporting the teams delivery of services [AM2]
  • Serves as the project lead and communication link between the client and the company
  • Develop and deliver reports and modifies schedules as required
  • Leads a diverse group of remote and local staff in order to implement the clients initiatives and provide services required to ensure saturation and effectiveness
  • Monitors the performance of the program and related activities on a continuing basis, taking appropriate steps to improve its effectiveness
  • Establishing goals and objectives for all resources
  • Ensures goals are met in areas including team member performance
  • Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement
  • Provide feedback and coaching to staff to meet desired performance outcomes
  • Building positive relationships within the team, community, and resource groups
  • Provide leadership in the development and preparation of reports to document impact and progress
  • Ensures that project goals and objectives are defined and accomplished according to clients goals
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project and confer with client project leadership team to ensure project alignment
  • Ensures staff creates, maintains, and submits all necessary documentation within the assigned time frames
  • Demonstrated success partnering with and influencing team and senior leadership
  • Coordinates arrangements for statewide trainingschedule trainers, locations, food, etc.
  • Maintain the projects information in the management system
  • Meet on a regular basis to provide project updates and share relevant information
  • Review data, information and prepares information materials for briefing and review sessions
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:Minimum requirements:

  • BS in Health Care Administration, Management, Public Health, and/or directly related. Masters Degree preferred.
  • 5 -7 years of experience in building coalitions or community partnerships, sales, customer relations and community/stakeholder involvement in the healthcare and/or insurance industry with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of and experience with project management preferably in the healthcare and/or insurance industry
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of and experience with Micro Soft Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Database such as Access and/or Salesforce.
  • Previous experience working with creating and managing dashboards.
  • Ability to gather, analyze and evaluate data.
  • Ability to be proactive and organized.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with and influencing team and senior leadership
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse ethnicities, socio-economic, management levels.
  • Must possess or can obtain a valid drivers license in the State of Indiana

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position will have supervisory responsibilities as defined by department needs.
Physical Demands/Work Environment:
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. The position also requires periodic travel to meet with client resources and assist with events. The position requires driving which requires the ability to sit for long periods of time. Must have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles. office equipment such as computer, fax, copiers, etc.
The work requires frequent communication which requires ability to express self and receive information. Employee must exercise problem solving skills, good judgement and decision-making skills to support staff and the client.
Ability to continuously stand or walk. Ability to lift up to 10-25 pounds, occasionally.
