Sales Development Representative

Position: Sales Development Representative

Reports to: COO

Location: San Diego/Carlsbad, CA USA (hybrid)

Salary Range: $50,000 - $70,000 annually and commission

About the Position:

SleepScore Labs, the company empowering businesses to solve the worlds sleep problems at scale, is at an exciting growth stage and is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a proven successful experience and track record to play a crucial role in supercharging the growth of our business by generating qualified leads and opportunities for our sales team and nurturing relationships with prospects, contributing to the expansion of SleepScore Labs' partner base and revenue. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated self-starter to create impact from day one through our existing targets pipeline as well as have the autonomy to shape and grow both pipeline and career trajectory as the position has room for growth in our larger sales and business development team.

Your Role:

  • Plan: Develop and execute KPIs, plans, and forecasts in alignment with target markets, market segments, and revenue goals to consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
  • Identify: Proactively identify and research potential leads per the plan using various tools and platforms.
  • Outreach: Initiate contact with prospects through outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels to effectively introduce SleepScore's offerings and their value propositions.
  • Engage: Build positive relationships with prospects, demonstrating deep understanding of their pain points and providing relevant insights and information to nurture their interest.
  • Qualify: Conduct thorough qualification of leads to determine their fit for SleepScore's products and services, understanding their needs, challenges, and buying motivations.
  • Collaborate: Collaborate closely with the B2B sales and marketing teams to hand off qualified leads and opportunities, ensuring smooth transition and alignment on account strategies, and to identify target customers and create targeted campaigns to reach them.
  • Manage Pipeline: Keep accurate records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system and manage lead pipeline effectively to meet or exceed targets.
  • Report: effectively communicate and present status vs plan and learnings.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, relevant media, competitor activities, and customer needs to continuously refine sales strategies & messaging.
  • B2B Marketing : Provide valuable feedback and insights to marketing and product teams, helping to optimize messaging, positioning, and product/service features.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proven experience and ability in sales development, lead generation, or outbound sales with quantified targets/quotas in a B2B capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot) and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Tech savvy with proven experience using a variety of marketing and sales intelligence tools.
  • Data driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills
