About Us: Blue Eyed Baker is expanding into an almost 6,000 square foot newly built & renovated bakery / all day cafe! The location is 636 East Fillmore Ave in East Aurora right across from the ice rink. The new space will feature a 2,000 square foot brand new kitchen, new kitchen equipment, plenty of customer seating, a very large bakery display case, a kitchen classroom space, outdoor patio space, an upstairs rooftop patio, a 30 foot upstairs bar, and large seating lounge. We have a 3 group head La Marzocco espresso machine & will have a full drink menu.

Position Overview: As a Sales Associate at Blue Eyed Baker, you will be the face of our bakery, providing excellent customer service and assisting customers in their bakery, drink, and food selections. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baked goods & high quality food & coffee, a friendly demeanor, and a knack for creating positive customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Provide information about bakery products, beverages (coffee and more), and savory menu items, including ingredients and flavor profiles
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Maintain clean and organized sales and customer areas
• Package and label bakery items for customer purchase
• Assist in restocking bakery shelves, displays, boxes, and more
• Upsell products and promote cafe specials
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism
• Provide quick service with attention to detail and minimizing the opportunity for errors

Requirements:

• Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
