Full description of the position

At PrideStaff we consistently provide client experiences focused on what they value most. Were seeking a qualified and personable Business Development Manager to extend our local reach through expert cultivation and development of new business opportunities and relationships in Charlotte, NC.

The ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and help build relationships. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. Highly skilled in sales and business operations, this person will join a team of like-minded go-getters to achieve our company vision.

Pay Range $40,000-$50,000 annually plus commission

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients and target markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, as well as develop relationships with new clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Lead negotiations for contracts, pricing, and terms with clients.
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track sales activities, pipeline, and client interactions.
  • Create new sales opportunities through prospecting
  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business
  • Stay up to date with industry knowledge, trends, and market developments
  • Develop business contacts through active participation in business-oriented or community program.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years' prior sales industry-related business development experience
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications and CRM platforms
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and achieve sales targets.
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • Experience in sales techniques
  • Understand the value of networking and building contacts
  • Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
  • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
