Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $100,500.00 - $119,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

Essential Functions

  • Manage Sales Assistants to facilitate an excellent client and financial advisor experience

  • Establish and maintain clear role definitions for all support functions within the sales team

  • Strategically plan and manage the staffing levels of the sales support team to maximize efficiency and productivity

  • Supervise a team responsible for managing accounts and referrals under $100k, including coverage of remote branches

  • Create programs and initiatives to nurture the growth and development of the next generation of financial advisors

  • Regularly interact with financial advisors to gather insights and define best practices for sales support, ensuring their needs are met effectively

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the sales support team and drive improvements

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for client and partner issues and complaints, providing timely and effective resolutions

  • Act as the primary liaison between CTC Operations and Commerce Financial Advisors (CFA), facilitating seamless communication and collaboration

  • Be a valued member of the CFA leadership team, contributing to the overall strategy and direction of the department

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate team members, guiding them in implementing departmental strategies and managing workflows. Offer coaching and development tailored to individual needs

  • Perform essential management duties including hiring, conducting evaluations, allocating annual increases, and implementing disciplinary actions as necessary

  • Communicate decisions, priorities, and pertinent information clearly and effectively to team members

  • Assist in budget management, planning, and expenditure to ensure resources are utilized optimally

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required

  • Strong knowledge of the financial services industry, including knowledge of best practices

  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to apply discretion and sound judgement to efficiently and effectively solve problems

  • Ability to drive results and balance management of organizational risk and meeting goals of the business

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate team members and foster a positive team environment that gives way to collaboration and unified goals

  • Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company, clearly expressing ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

  • Advance level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Position requires 25% travel to other markets.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

  • 6+ years in client service or relationship management experience required

  • 4+ years supervisory/management experience preferred

  • Series 66 (or 63 & 65) and Series 7 or ability to obtain within 6 months required

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $100,500 to $119,000 annually. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
