Experienced optical assistant needed for fast paced friendly Commack optometric office. Part time with potential to full time available. Applicant must be knowledgeable in optical sales, optical vision plans, and contact lenses. Hours are Mondays 9am to 4pm, Friday 9am to 4pm and Saturdays 8:30 to 4pm. Family owned and operated for over 40 years. Come join our amazing team!!

• Previous optical experience is a MUST
• Strong selling skills
• Strong customer service skills.
• Able to give instruction in a clear and concise manner to customers.

• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Hours will increase as the year progresses

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 36 per week
