POSITION: Insurance Producer - CL

COMPANY: Townley Kenton

LOCATION: Decatur, Georgia

COMPENSATION: $60k to $80k base salary plus commission/bonuses

VISION OF THE ROLE:

The Vision of the Commercial Lines Insurance Producer is to source prospective clients, develop professional relationships, and win clients by working with the team to deliver high-end services proactively. As a Commercial Lines Insurance Producer, you will work closely with business leaders to implement critically important risk management plans that protect businesses' assets and income. This is a challenging role that will test and expand your business acumen and abilities. This role is best suited for professionals seeking a rapid development path, who are motivated by solving real business problems, and who want more control over their own income and work/life balance. MAJOR ACTIONS OR INITIATIVES:

- Develop a prospect pipeline through market research and sales tools such as LinkedIn and Google.

- Communicate the value proposition and differentiators of the agency.

- Attend trade shows and networking events within target industries.

- Recognize client needs and coordinate with agency teams to deliver value-added solutions.

- Act as a "trusted advisor" by demonstrating a depth of knowledge regarding the clients operations.

- Pursue personal and professional development through agency-sponsored continuing education.

Routines:

- Connect with business owners and leaders via calling, emailing, and in-person meetings.

- Prepare strategic prospect due diligence through extensive research in coordination with mentors.

- Oversee the gathering of information required for property & casualty or benefits renewals.

- Effectively communicate with client team members to provide excellent service.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Willing to participate in an intensive training program including significant study and work.

- 2 years of Sales Experience.

- College degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, finance, sales, economics, or similar fields of study where a high degree of business acumen is expected.

- Currently licensed or willing to obtain Georgia agents license.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
