Midstream Pipeline Outside Sales (Account Manager)

Allied Valve Pipeline Division is seeking an individual to join our team as an Account Manager for Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi (South Region). This position presents an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial individual looking for a challenging and lively career in problem solving and sales.

The Midstream Pipeline Outside Sales position will work daily with the Business Development Group, Pipeline Service Team, Inside Sales Team, and will report to the Pipeline Division Director. This position will require frequent travel.

Job Responsibilities

• Calls on Midstream Gas and Liquid Pipeline Accounts including: Compressor Stations, Pump Stations, Regional Offices, Corporate Offices and Supporting Engineers.
• Develop new product and service sales opportunities at the assigned region through demonstrations, training, troubleshooting, and exceptional customer service.
• Provide rapid solutions for customer valve and actuation needs.
• Provide consistent year-over-year sales growth
• Track and maintain a consistent sales funnel
• Develop in depth customer networks and relationships
• Provide consistent and reliable responsiveness and support
• Use sales tools to develop cross selling opportunities

Ideal Candidate Attributes

• Valve Automation Product Sales or Service Experience
• Knowledge of Mainline Valve, Isolation Valve and Control Valve actuation
• Familiarity with OPP, ESD & Line Break valve controls
• Familiarity with control communication protocol
• Comfortable conducting on site project walk downs, valve sizing, and take offs
• Comfortable training customers on valves and actuators
• Moderate computer skills
• Ability to communicate on technical topics through email and phone
• Organized
• Self-Starter
• Willing to travel up to 75%
• Willing to work with a team and work alone
