OozeX is the next logical step for the evolution of Ooze. We are experts in our field, and with the massive success of our Slim Twist Vape Pen, a line of premium concentrates at an affordable price point just makes sense. Our customers trust us for quality and approachability when it comes to hardware, and OozeX will translate that same expertise with our extracts. Through our messaging and price points, we intend to make concentrates an accessible option for novice and veteran users alike.
As a Sales & Vendor Manager for OozeX, you will be joining a dynamic team with open communication and collaboration surrounding all efforts to continue the growth and expansion of the brand. You will have the unique support of your immediate OozeX team as well as our parent company, Cannatron.
This role will include travel throughout Michigan 75% or more with weekly in-office work located in Oak Park, MI.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop new partnerships with Michigan dispensaries, as well as manage and/or maximize partnerships to drive sales.
- Drive new business and reach monthly goals set forth by Sr. Sales Manager and Brand Director
- Foster existing relationships as well as bring in new relationships that make sense for the brand.
- Maintain up to date knowledge on products and industry knowledge, including cannabis laws and regulation.
- Proactively anticipate customer needs and ensure knowledge of products and usage.
- Actively participate in weekly meetings with regular updates, reporting and communications with the board members and direct reports.
- Coordinate Vendor Days and assist in training and developing Brand Ambassadors.
- Execute high customer experience standards, to include a world-class culture and industry- leading customer engagement through strong sales techniques and product knowledge.
- Must be able to accommodate flexible scheduling expectations including weekend, evenings, and holiday schedules.
Requirements:
- 21+ years of age (as required by state regulations)
- A minimum of a High School diploma is required.
- 3+ years experience with sales in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in the cannabis or pharma sales industry strongly preferred.
- Acute sense of prospecting, evaluating and prioritizing leads based on prior sales and orders.
- Exceptional relationship building skills.
- Strong computer-based skills
- Valid drivers license and ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record background check (state specific)
- Reliable transportation
