The Job
As Own continues to scale into the next phase of growth, we are looking for a determined Federal Account Executive to help build out the core Federal sales team at Own Company. In this quota-carrying role, you will handle both inbound and outbound leads and support customer expansion. As you achieve and surpass your goals, you'll unlock a wealth of opportunity at Own to continue your career development.
Your Day-to-Day Role
- Work within our partner ecosystem to develop and maintain a regional presence
- Work closely with Salesforce and Servicenow to develop a pipeline
- Manage the full sales cycle from qualification and discovery to fulfillment
- Develop and execute strategic accounts, territory plans, and forecast sales accurately
- Respond to inbound leads and develop your pipeline using outbound prospecting best practices
- Be an evangelist of the need for Government entities to back up and own their SaaS application data
Your Work Experience
- Minimum of 10 + years quota carrying experience selling SaaS applications or SaaS-related consulting services to the Federal Government or Federal Service Integrators.
- Track record of exceeding quota regularly and supporting customer growth
- Knowledge of the Federal Government/Federal Service Integrators' landscape
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working well in a fast-paced growing team
- Experience with Salesforce, ServiceNow, or Microsoft Ecosystem a plus

Important Details
This is a full-time remote position. The ideal candidate will work out of the DC metro area to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Own is a global team, and as we're looking for top talent, for the right candidate there may be an opportunity to work remotely in the following states: DC,MD, VA. Travel may be required.
