Little Sky BakeryAbout us:
We are an artisan bakery in sunny Menlo Park. We began making sourdough bread out of a single dutch oven, and since then have expanded our product line to include a variety of naturally leavened breads, including baguettes, European-style ryes, challah, pain de mie, fougasse, other delicious baked goods (sourdough scones, giant cookies, muffins, cakes) and prepared foods (sandwiches, pizza). Today, we are in about two dozen markets across the Peninsula, and recently opened our first brick-and-mortar locations in Downtown Menlo Park and Downtown Los Altos. We are a group of straight-forward, passionate and dedicated people, and are looking for similar-spirited people to join our team.

Position description:
We are looking for baked goods enthusiasts to help us sell at our locations. Candidates with the ability to travel across the Peninsula are especially encouraged to apply. This job has many perks free food; a delightful, highly collegial work environment; generous tips! Availability on all days of the week is not required; our schedule is flexible.Candidates with barista experience are especially encouraged to apply (but barista experience is not required) as we work on opening our first location with coffee service.

Responsibilities include:

• Setup of booth/display before the market some bending and lifting required
• Serving as a "tour guide/travel agent": informing and exciting customers about our products, and pairing them with the baked goods best suited to them
• Restocking products throughout the market, and ensuring that products are displayed in a clean, clear, attractive fashion
• Taking inventory at the beginning of the market, recording sellout times, and reporting personal observations
• Breakdown and cleanup

This is a wonderful opportunity to sell products you can be proud of. The starting wage for this role is $18/hr, but with tips, sales staff regularly make $20-$45 per hour.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
