Account Executive/Outside Sales - Sealants & Adhesive

Industrial Supply Solutions, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of maintenance, repair, and operations products servicing the mining and industrial markets since 1946. We have an opportunity for an Account Executive/Outside Sales - Sealants & Adhesive for the Dallas, TX and surrounding markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate new business with new and existing customers
  • Prospect local areas to develop target list for new growth opportunities
  • Review specifications and testing date to ensure technical requirements are met
  • Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customers' concerns
  • Routinely interact face-to-face with customers to foster strong relationships and build confidence
  • Work with local customers to identify, quote, engineer, and close product and solution sales
  • Provide business planning to reach product and sales goals
  • Work with and coordinate vendor resources to build relationships and support sales
  • Completing reports regarding itineraries, expenses, sales calls and leads

Requirements:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in industrial grade sealants & adhesives
  • Team oriented, outgoing, positive personality with superior problem-solving skills
  • Travel to customers
  • Work experience in Microsoft Office; proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to multitask and manage time well
  • Make quick sound decisions and think out of the box mentality
  • Drivers License, with a good driving record, and dependable transportation
  • Business or related degree a plus

This will be a salary plus commission position. Company provides major medical insurance, term life insurance, and 401K. Compensation package will be commensurate with experience, proven track record, and ability. Pre-employment drug testing, physical and background check required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
