Account Executive/Outside Sales - Sealants & Adhesive

We have an opportunity for an Account Executive/Outside Sales - Sealants & Adhesive for the Dallas, TX and surrounding markets.
Responsibilities:
- Generate new business with new and existing customers
- Prospect local areas to develop target list for new growth opportunities
- Review specifications and testing date to ensure technical requirements are met
- Assist with on-site troubleshooting of customers' concerns
- Routinely interact face-to-face with customers to foster strong relationships and build confidence
- Work with local customers to identify, quote, engineer, and close product and solution sales
- Provide business planning to reach product and sales goals
- Work with and coordinate vendor resources to build relationships and support sales
- Completing reports regarding itineraries, expenses, sales calls and leads
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in industrial grade sealants & adhesives
- Team oriented, outgoing, positive personality with superior problem-solving skills
- Travel to customers
- Work experience in Microsoft Office; proficiency in Excel
- Ability to multitask and manage time well
- Make quick sound decisions and think out of the box mentality
- Drivers License, with a good driving record, and dependable transportation
- Business or related degree a plus
This will be a salary plus commission position. Company provides major medical insurance, term life insurance, and 401K. Compensation package will be commensurate with experience, proven track record, and ability. Pre-employment drug testing, physical and background check required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
