What youll do:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Head of Business Development / Commercial Director to join The Commercialiser. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for hunting new opportunities and strategically selling our Negotiation and Advisory solutions across the USA. Your target audience will be Large Enterprise clients (successful companies generating in excess of $1bn annual revenue, with a focus on Financial Services companies such as Private Equity, Banks, Asset Managers and VCs). This is a newly created role, which will present a great opportunity for a successful candidate who is driven and entrepreneurial.
Main Accountability:
- Identify and drive new business opportunities with The Commercialiser across the US, targeting Large Enterprise C-level stakeholders
- Convert viable prospects into active clients, owning the full sales process from lead generation to negotiation and close, through to the transition of new clients
- Continually build a pipeline of relevant opportunities to deliver against your sales metrics ensuring KPIs are met
- Quota responsibility delivering new revenue across your assigned territory (US)
- Manage complex high-revenue sales across matrix and diverse business environments
- Exercise forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
- Travel will be required both nationally and internationally
- Build a business development team as the role progresses
What youll need:
- 2-5 years B2B minimum sales experience required - preferably within either Banking, Technology, SaaS, services or a consultative environment
- Preferably strong background in the financial services industry
- Proven track record meeting and exceeding sales targets with full sales cycle ownership in a business development / new business environment
- Experience selling to and/or influencing C-level executives (CEO, COO, Commercial Director, Country Head, Chief Procurement Officer)
- Proven ability to precisely manage and forecast a complex sales process
- Willingness to conduct world-wide travel and work flexible working hours
What you will get:
- Salary: $70,000 - $300,000 (commission based)
- Flexible schedule works 7 days a week with days off established
