We are looking to hire a high energy, hardworking, team player to join our Sales Development Organization. As a Sales Development Rep, you will start learning our business from day one from our Rochester, New York Headquarters. Within our interactive learning and training environment, you will receive the guidance, mentoring, and support you need to be successful! Sales Development Representatives focus on targeted prospecting to create sales opportunities for selling partners. Consult with potential clients, leveraging expertise in Calero products and services. You will thrive in our entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
As a Sales Development Rep, you will conduct calls with prospective clients and set appointments for both our Mid-Market and Enterprise Sales teams through outbound targeted telephone sales. This involves establishing rapport with prospects through nurturing and engaging conversations throughout the sales cycle. Moreover, the Sales Development Rep will promote Calero's competitive advantages by emphasizing our unique selling points and demonstrating expertise in the overall value proposition associated with Calero's range of products and services. The Sales Development Rep will successfully manage open opportunities and maintain data updates within the CRM [please apply online] to ensure an effective pipeline is being nurtured. This entry-level position offers a pathway for you to progress into the role of an Account Executive as part of Caleros career advancement opportunities.
Must be comfortable with cold calling.
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- 1+ years of Appointment Setting or inside sales experience
- Excellent communication skills (following script-60-75 calls/day)
- Proven history of work ethic and exceeding goals
- Must be professional
- Must be organized

The hourly wage for this position is $22.00-$25.00 plus commission. It is important to Calero that potential candidates for this position understand that compensation depends on numerous factors including the geographic location where the role will be performed, skills required, experience, complexity, travel, and market rate.
