Now Hiring - A Tool Shed Equipment Rentals Inc - Outside Sales Representative in Morgan Hill, CA

Outside Sales positions represent the company for the rental and sales of construction equipment to customers in surrounding A Tool Shed store locations. Outside Sales will need to have tenacity for forming relationships with new customers and the finesse to keep our loyal customers. For over 75 years A Tool Shed has been providing equipment to professionals as well as homeowners, and we a looking for a special rep to step outside the equipment yard and share what A Tool Shed has available. We now have 8 locations in Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, San Benito, and Monterey counties.

Duties:

• Solicits to rental customers and follows up on rental sales leads
• Maintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment
• Monitors competitive activity/products and timely communicates to management
• Maintains all customer information for sales management
• Knows and follows a defined sales process
• Assists stores with the preparation and execution of customer reservations
• Conducts new equipment field demonstrations
• Monitors trends in customers business activities and timely communicates to management

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

• Strong project management, new business development and customer retention skills
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Solid computer skills
• Knowledge of ground protection, construction or specialty industrial equipment preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish) may be preferred in some locations
• The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
