About J&E Tire Center

At J&E Tire Center, our goal is ensure you continue to get where you need to go in the years to come with reliable commercial tires and trailer tires. Our service includes roadside service, tire deliveries, and semi-truck alignments.

Our founding fathers at J&E Tire Center started the business in 1989 with one salesman and two technicians using their personal vehicles as service and delivery trucks. In March 1992, we moved into our current building. Weve grown through the years to five service trucks, two full-time delivery trucks, 9 techs and a total of 17 employees.

At J&E Tire Center, we pride ourselves on outstanding service. We are accountable and professional, courteous, and very customer-oriented, trying to do what is best for the customer.

• Customer service: Greet walk-in customers and ascertain customer needs/desires; go out to vehicle to inspect tires.
• Answer telephones using Best-One phone shop standards.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise; may assist customer in loading tires.
• Handle customer inquiries and requests regarding accounts, products, rates, and services.
• Obtain orders: Ability to learn and operate point of sale system to create work orders and invoice customers in a timely and efficient manner.
• Compute sales prices, total purchases, and process payments.
• Maintain knowledge of current fleet programs, national accounts, and promotions.
• Maintain knowledge of policies regarding payment, exchanges, and returns, and security practices.
• Billing: Responsible for invoicing and filing of work orders.
• Generate computer bills.
• Work with customers to resolve credit issues and develop payment plans.
• Other: Clean shelves, counters, and tables.
• Meet the requirements outlined in the companys evaluation form

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 9 per week
