Reports to: Sales Management

Overview: Implements and supports sales strategies to gain market share within assigned sales
territory. Meets or exceeds annual revenue targets. Contacts new and existing customers on a regular basis.

Essential Duties:

  • Identify and assess sales opportunities with specific accounts and territories.
  • Establish long-term business relationships with customers.
  • Achieve incremental sales growth.
  • Maintain database of customer information.
  • Facilitate Account Receivable and DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
  • Provide all aspects of account maintenance.
  • Answer customer calls for product information.
  • Assist customers with product availability, pricing, and order status.
  • Manage expense budget.

Non-Essential Duties:
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Perform all assigned duties.

Knowledge:
  • Has a basic understanding of the oil/gas industry and mechanical aptitude.
  • At least a limited understanding of our products and services.

Minimum Education and Certification:
  • Associate's degree in related field preferred.

Minimum Experience:
  • Typically at least 1-2 years experience in sales within oil field equipment and services.

Leadership:
  • May serve as a resource to others with less experience.

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and bend with good balance, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms
  • Regularly required to sit, perform repetitive duties, use a PC and to talk and hear

  • Regularly required to lift, move and carry up to 10 pounds

  • Bring new ideas and solutions to supervisor.
  • Most assignments regularly require some problem identification and resolution.
