ECHO is hiring a Director of Sales Support and Operations! The Director of Sales Support and Operations will implement, and coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization. They will proactively monitor and strive to maintain prominent levels of quality and accuracy while providing consistency in the sales organizations planning efforts.
This is a hybrid position that will offer the flexibility of working from home and on-site at our Lake Zurich facility.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversees budgeting procedures, including sales forecasting and planning, within the sales division.
- Proactively maintains high standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency in sales planning.
- Identifies opportunities for enhancing sales processes, enabling tools, and analytics.
- Ensures accurate and efficient distribution of sales reports, recommending revisions or new developments as necessary.
- Establishes and adjusts operational procedures and guidelines.
- Directs team activities, leading strategic projects, process development, and insight studies.
- Establishes processes and controls to support sales and ensure compliance.
- Drives continuous improvement in cross-functional processes and objectives for effective sales operations.
- Facilitates communication and alignment across teams to support sales programs.
- Manages timely payments to distributors and dealers, resolves customer disputes, and handles compliance fines.
- Coordinates onboarding and program launches for customers.
- Develops strategies to elevate customer service levels.
- Collaborates with sales leadership on sales analytics monitoring.
- Serves as a subject matter expert for sales support tools and technology.
Job Experience/Skills:
- Must be a strong leader with the ability to evaluate the needs of the organization and prioritize responsibilities.
- Possess excellent decision-making abilities in ambiguous and high-pressure situations.
- Utilize strong organizational skills and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Understand and implement extensive sales programs, distribution requirements, planning, retail, and customer service.
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, v-lookup functions, and macros.
Travel: Less than 5%
Education: BA/BS Degree in Business, Analytics, Supply Chain, or 10+ years of equivalent working experience.
